Tulio Halperin Donghi, a towering figure in the fields of Argentine and Latin American history who authored 24 books, including pioneering monographs, major works of synthesis, essay collections, and a powerful memoir of his formative years, died on November 14, 2014, in Berkeley, California. The Kellogg Institute has lost a dear friend and colleague with the sudden death on June 16 of Faculty Fellow Sabine MacCormack, who suffered a heart attack while gardening, one of her favorite pursuits.
